The Hindu

District Forest officials have developed an eco-tourism project in the Krishnapuram area, about 2 km from Lambasingi of Chintapalli mandal in Alluri Sitharama Raju district. Visitors can experience a forest stay and enjoy several recreational facilities, such as a children’s play arena, campfires, and a walking track in a scenic location. Narasimha Rao, District Forest Officer, Chintapalli, said the eco-tourism project’s main motto is to provide employment to the locals while ensuring responsible tourism. The department is also considering campaigns to raise tourists’ awareness of the area’s topology, forest cover, and conservation as part of the expansion.
