KTR slams Revanth Reddy on Constitution Day: Violating all principles, values
India TodayBharat Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao on Tuesday tore into Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, and accused the state's Congress government of "violating all the constitutional principles and values". In an open letter to Reddy, the BRS working chief said, "While Rahul Gandhi speaks of constitutional values, your government tramples on them," he said. In his letter, KTR further said that while former state Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had honoured Dr BR Ambedkar by installing the latter’s tallest statue, Revanth Reddy had failed to pay respects to the statue only due to his personal animosity towards Chandrashekhar Rao, terming this as an insult to the architect of the Constitution. In his letter, KTR also condemned the frequent police excesses being reported across the state, holding them responsible for custodial torture and creating a "Police Raj".
