TRIDENT Trident would explore Triton, a unique and highly active icy moon of Neptune, to get a deeper understanding of potentially habitable world's in the outer solar system. The mission will look for a subsurface ocean NASA’s Voyager 2 mission showed that Triton has active resurfacing - generating the second youngest surface in the solar system after Io.
