Deccan ChronicleHyderabad: Residents of Godavari Gardens, Yapral, are suffering from multiple civic issues, including erratic water supply, crumbling roads, stray animals and unreliable supply of electricity. “The water supply has become so irregular that we get water only on alternate days and that too for just one hour with dismal pressure,” said Dr Bhargava. Dr S.C. Bhargava, 84, a retired specialist in electromagnetic phenomena from BHEL, and the founding president of the Godavari Gardens Welfare Association, expressed his grief over the declining livability of the colony he has called home since 1974.“The water supply has become so irregular that we get water only on alternate days and that too for just one hour with dismal pressure,” said Dr Bhargava. “There are about 50-60 houses in the colony and we are struggling to manage with this irregular water supply,” said another resident.
