Krishna Phase-III drinking water project to function from June

With works nearing completion, the Rs.1,670 crore Krishna Phase-III project will become fully operational in June, Water Board assured on Wednesday. Explaining the status of phase-III works, HMWSSB Director G. Rameshwar Rao said a small section of the pipeline to carry untreated water from Alimineti Madhava Reddy Project canal at Akkampally in Nalgonda district to a water treatment plant in Kondandapur will be completed on April 4.
