Allahabad HC Stays Arrest, Probe Against Dy. SP Accused Of Sexually Exploiting IIT-K Student Making False Marriage Promise

The Allahabad High Court today stayed the ongoing investigation against DSP Rank UP Police Officer, who has been accused of establishing a sexual relationship with a female student of IIT-Kanpur while making a false promise of marriage. Azhar Husain Idrisi has also stayed his arrest in connection with the case. Booked under Sectio 69 BNS, Khan allegedly exploited the victim after he secured admission at the Institute as a PhD scholar earlier this year. As per the police complaint lodged by the victim, Khan entered into a relationship with her while hiding the fact that he was already married, after that, when she got to know about his marital status, the accused promised her that he would give divorce to his wife.
