Harry Potter series to go on floors next summer

HBO's Harry Potter TV series will be ready for its premiere next summer. During a recent interaction, director and producer Mark Mylod shared that 32,000 children auditioned for the roles, including for the parts of the main cast -- Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. The filmmaker and producer also spoke about the character of Professor Snape and said the late Alan Rickman, who played him in the film, is irreplaceable: “Nobody can replace Alan Rickman, but we can find the next Alan Rickman.” Alan Rickman died in 2016. The celebrated actor played the role of Snape in eight Harry Potter movies.
