Maha Kumbh: U.P. directs medical facilities of Pragayraj division to remain on high alert

All medical facilities in the Prayagraj administrative division have been put on high alert ahead of the Basant Panchami Amrit Snan at the Maha Kumbh on Monday. More than 1,200 medical personnel will be on standby in Mahakumbhnagar to provide immediate assistance with a backup plan in place in case of an emergency. It added, “A special four-member medical team, including key officials such as Umakant Sanyal, Dr. Manoj Kaushik, Dr. Ram Singh, and Dr. Gaurav Dubey, inspected every hospital in the fair area, ensuring that all medical supplies and equipment are in place and operational. Additionally, a 200-unit blood bank has been set up and integrated into the hospital’s alarm system for quick response.” Within the Maha Kumbh area, a comprehensive health arrangement, including a state-of-the-art 100-bed central hospital, two 25-bed sub-central hospitals, eight 20-bed sector hospitals, and two 20-bed infectious diseases hospitals, has been made.
