A tough call for selectors: Former Indian keeper Saba Karim worried about India's batting approach in T20Is
India TodayIndia are set to take on Ireland and England in T20I format of the game in the hopes to settle in on the initial squad which will be in the radar for T20 World Cup, scheduled to be hosted in Australia later this year. Many have criticised India’s conservative approach with their batting order in the ICC competitions, which was the prime reason behind their downfall in the 2021 edition of the world tournament. Speaking ahead of the series, former Indian selector Saba Karim has said that the team management needs to gave a hard discussion with the top three batters and figure out a way to bat in the T20 game. India have not played their full strength squad since the World Cup, and neither have they played under their full time captain Rohit Sharma in all the matches. India would be hoping to put a good show against Eoin Morgan’s England, who looked to be in top condition against the Netherlands in the recently concluded ODI series.
