Will abide by party discipline, says Trinamool MLA Humayun Kabir
Trinamool Congress MLA Humayun Kabir said on Monday that he would abide by party discipline and follow instructions of the party leadership, after being summoned by the party disciplinary committee for provocative remarks. Mr. Kabir had also alleged that other party leaders like Firhad Hakim or Siddiqullah Chowdhury would not be served notices for making controversial comments. He has agreed to abide by party discipline and has said he will consult us if he has any other complaints or discontent,” State parliamentary affairs minister and senior Trinamool leader Sovandeb Chattopadhyay told presspersons after the disciplinary committee met with Mr. Kabir on Monday. The disciplinary committee of the Trinamool Legislature Party comprises MLAs Sovandeb Chattopadhyay, Aroop Biswas, Chandrima Bhattacharya and Firhad Hakim.
