Daily MailA Pakistani teenager plagued with an enormous tumour covering his thigh and hip is desperately waiting for life-changing surgery. Muhammad Essa Pallari suffers from plexiform neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that affects the normal growth and development of cell tissue Essa's father, Allah Dino, 52, is hopeful of a successful surgery. The 18-year-old is now bedridden because of the 'unbelievable' 44lbs tumour on his right leg that has left him unable to walk or stand Essa, whose left leg is unaffected, is ready for surgery next week after local officials in Karachi intervened when they saw his condition on Facebook A recent hospital check revealed the tumour increased to more than 20kg in weight and nearly 50cm in size. He is set to undergo free treatment - after his poverty-stricken family were unable to seek medical help when his tumour began growing in 2013 Essa reportedly showed no signs of having plexiform neurofibromatosis until he turned 13 'I came to know about him two months ago and that time his tumour was only on his thigh but now the right side of his lower back is all covered with huge tumour.' Earlier this month a social activist named Zulfiqar Solangi posted Essa's pictures on Facebook and asked people to help Doctors have said that the tumour needs to be removed surgically and wouldn't have grown so big if the case had been reported earlier
