Anti-CAA protests: Delhi's Rajiv Chowk Metro station closed, but interchange available
India TodayThe entry and exit gates of Delhi's second-busiest metro station, Rajiv Chowk, were closed on Thursday afternoon as authorities scrambled to contain growing protests against the amended citizenship law. Rajiv Chowk is an important hub in Delhi's metro rail network. 19 STATIONS CLOSED Eighteen other Delhi metro stations were also closed at the time when this story was first published, according to updates provided the the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. NOTE: The nineteen metro stations that have been closed are Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, Patel Chowk, Lok Kalyan Marg, Udyog Bhawan, Chandni Chowk, Vishwavidyalaya, Pragati Maidan, Mandi House, Barakhamba Road, ITO, Khan Market, Lal Quila, Jama Masjid, Janpath, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh, Vasant Vihar and Munirka.
