Domestic Cricket: Mizoram set to hire new guest players
The HinduCricket Association of Mizoram has released its outstation players — Taruwar Kohli, Akhil Rajput and Sinan Khadir — and is looking at lethal fast bowlers, wicketkeeper-batsmen and effective spin-bowling all-rounders for the 2019-20 BCCI domestic season. One among the nine new teams in the BCCI calendar that made its debut last year, Mizoram had a forgetful season and is charged up to make amends. From the earlier batch, only Kohli — former India U-19 and Punjab cricketer — ticked the boxes while Rajput and Khadir made their debut.
