Disturbed By 'Farting' Dog, Couple Demands Refund From Airline
News 18A couple from Wellington, New Zealand, is seeking a refund from Singapore Airlines after facing an unpleasant flight experience. Gill and Warren Press had purchased premium economy seats for their 13-hour flight from Paris to Singapore but ended up moving to the economy due to their fellow passenger’s emotional support dog, which was drooling, farting and making noises throughout the journey. I said, ‘I’m not having this sitting next to us the whole trip’.” Gill Press recounted that she overheard the dog’s owner explaining to another passenger that the dog had anxiety issues, which is why the animal was allowed in the cabin. However, as a week passed without any communication, Press took the initiative to send an email to the airline’s customer service team to express their dissatisfaction with the experience. In response to the incident, Singapore Airlines has announced that they will now inform customers who may be seated next to an assistance dog before boarding the flight.
