IPL 2025 Auction Day 2: Bhuvneshwar Kumar biggest buy of Day 2, 13-year-old Suryavanshi creates history
Hindustan TimesIPL 2025 Auction Day 2 Highlights: Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the most expensive player on the second day of the 2025 IPL mega auction as the veteran pacer was bought by RCB for INR 10.75 crore. However, the transaction that might have caught everyone's eye, even more than arguably Rishabh Pant's record INR 27 crore acquisition by LSG, would be 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi being bought by Rajasthan Royals for INR 1.10 crore.. Since he made his debut as a fairly unknown name who hadn't even played first class cricket in Australia all the way back in 2009, David Warner has played in every season of the IPL except in 2018 when he was serving a ban. Any hopes of seeing James Anderson in the IPL was dashed at the start of the accelerated auction process itself when he wasn't picked.
