Covid-19 pandemic: Volvo Car India announces Rs 10 lakh term insurance policy for all dealer employees

In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, Volvo Car India today announced a term insurance policy of up to Rs 10 lakh for all the personnel employed at its dealerships across the country. Volvo Car India boasts of 25 dealerships, which are spread across cities like Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Raipur, Jaipur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Pune, Raipur, Surat, Vishakhapatnam and Vijayawada. In case a dealer employee of Volvo Car India succumbs to Covid-19, his/her family will receive compensation of up to Rs 10 lakh. For us, they are an integral part of our team and therefore the company does have a responsibility towards them, more so during these unprecedented times," Volvo Car India Managing Director Jyoti Malhotra said.
