The Queens of the Stone Age frontman appeared on the BBC kids channel on Friday reading Julia Donaldson's Zog, an imaginative tale about a dragon that is “learning to be the best he can be.” It is the first of several episodes that Homme recorded ahead of his band's surprise performance at Reading and Leeds Festival in August. Earlier this year, Mad Max: Fury Road actor Tom Hardy read several stories for the channel, his final appearance serving as a tribute to his pet dog Woody while Captain America star Evans read a superhero tale. Last month, Queens of the Stone Age earned their first UK number one for seventh studio record Villains which was produced by Mark Ronson.
