'Unintended Consequences': Ground Workers Object to Govt's Proposal to Raise Minimum Age of Marriage

Pressure, from organisations and advocacy groups from across the country, is mounting against the government’s proposal of increasing the minimum age of marriage of women. On August 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the task force would work on redefining the minimum age of marriage for women.
