
Long wait of students to end, Indore varsity convocation on Dec 1
Hindustan TimesThe long wait of hundreds of students belonging to the 2012-13 and 2013-14 batches of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya in Indore will finally end, as the university is slated to organise its 51st annual convocation ceremony after a gap of two-and-a-half years on Thursday. This year, the DAVV will honour as many 272 meritorious students with gold and silver medals, including 139 medals to students of 2012-13 batch and 135 medals to 2013-14 batch students, while PhDs will be awarded to 61 research scholars. Isha Sharma of Index Medical College and Research Centre will get the top number of medals, including five gold and two silver for brilliant academic performance, followed by engineering student Utkarsh Agrawal, who will get four gold medals. MBBS student Ritu Bansal will take four gold and two silver medals for her outstanding academic record, followed by engineering student Anshu Hirani who will take four gold medals. 2012-13 batch: 5 gold and 2 silver medals for Isha Sharma; 4 gold medals to Utkarsh Agrawal 2013-14 batch: 4 gold and 2 silver medals to Ritu Bansal; 4 gold medals to Anshu Hirani
