Do not leave me alone.” Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has been sincerely engaged in developing the civilisational strategic relationship with Iran on mutually beneficial terms despite the difficulties due to Western sanctions, congratulated Pezeshkian on X, stating, ‘“Congratulations @drpezeshkian on your election as the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. PM Modi met late President Raisi last year in Johannesburg, when New Delhi supported Iran as a new member of the BRICS along with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Ethiopia, and Egypt.
