In Himachal, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hits out at BJP, RSS
The HinduAs Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, he hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, blaming them for practicing the politics of hatred, violence, and fear in the country. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and other senior Congress leaders welcomed the former party president and joined the march as it entered the State at Manser in Kangra district. Addressing the gathering at Manser, Mr. Gandhi said that the yatra was aimed at uniting the nation against communal and divisive forces and giving a befitting reply to the nefarious designs of the BJP and the RSS. He said that Himachal Pradesh would also follow the path of unity, integrity, and co-existence shown by the Congress party by launching the Haath se Haath Jodo campaign, a follow-up to the yatra.
