The final three contestants, whittled down from the original 25, stood around the castle fire pit as host Claudia Winkleman dramatically threw their ‘ceremonial voting pouches’ into the flames. The smoke billowed red, indicating that Francesca Rowan-Plowden, Leanne Quigley and Jake Brown, despite all being Faithfuls and claiming to be the best of friends, didn’t trust each other one jot and weren’t ready to end the game and share the prize money. Leanne Quigley and Jake Brown have won The Traitors as the Faithfuls took home the £94,600 prize money in an excruciating final on Friday evening It was Faithfuls who managed to out smart the Traitors and bag the prize money in the tensest final yet Leanne Quigley, Alexander Dragonetti, Claudia Winkleman, Francesca Rowan-Plowden and Jake Brown Berman stand around the fire pit for the tense finale She became the ultimate mouse that roared – going from sweet and gentle Faithful to murderous Traitor, backstabbing and double crossing like she was born to do it. In the end, perhaps rather too predictably, Ms Quigley and Mr Brown didn’t believe neither Ms Rowan-Plowden nor Ms Berman, banishing them both from the castle and chucking debonair former diplomat Alexander Dragonetti out for good measure.
