AIADMK backed CAA, now attending Iftar without shame: MK Stalin slams EPS
India TodayTamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin accused the AIADMK of betraying the Muslim community by supporting the Citizenship Amendment Act and now attempting to woo them through Iftar gatherings. Stalin slammed AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami, stating that his participation in Muslim events was hypocritical given his past support for the controversial law. He reminded people that during his tenure as Chief Minister, Palaniswami had downplayed concerns over the law, asking dismissively, “Who has lost citizenship?” The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister also took a swipe at Palaniswami for attending an Iftar event, calling it an act of political opportunism. Like our leader Karunanidhi, who had a very good relationship with Muslims and introduced several welfare schemes, we, the Dravidian model government, are also following the same path,” Stalin said.
