Delhi Summers To Get Harsher With No Respite From Heatwave, Check IMD Forecast

The summers in Delhi are only going to get harsher as more heatwaves has been predicted to hit the city in the coming days, according to the India Meteorolgical Department. The heatwave condition is likely to prevail in the national capital and adjoining areas for at least the next two days with the mercury likely to soar to 42 degrees Celsius. The weather department has warned of a heatwave in parts of Rajasthan with an orange alert amid above-normal maximum temperature. "Heatwave to severe heatwave conditions very likely to continue to prevail at isolated to few pockets of Saurashtra & Kutch, West Rajasthan during 06th-09th and East Rajasthan on 07th April," said the IMD in its forecast bulletin on Sunday. "Heatwave conditions very likely in isolated pockets of Rajasthan during 06th-10th; West Uttar Pradesh, south Haryana, Delhi, Punjab on 07th & 08th; Himachal Pradesh during 06th-07th; Gujarat Region during 06th-09th; West Madhya Pradesh during 07th-10th, East Madhya Pradesh on 08th & 09th and Vidarbha on 09th & 10th April," it added
