New Delhi, Dec 13 Infrastructure built in the last 10 years is more than the work done under 60 years of the previous regime, union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Friday. Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Scindia told reporters that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the government has developed infrastructure with a focus on quality, speed, quantity and coverage. The minister said that the budget allocation for road, railways and aviation infrastructure has increased leaps and bounds in the last 10 years. In 2013-14, the budget allocated for roads was about ₹31,130 crore which has been increased significantly to ₹2.7 lakh crore in 2024-25 which means 9 times increase," Scindia said.
