
Need to bridge gap between theoretical research and practical applications, say speakers
The HinduIndian Institute of Technology Tirupati hosted the prestigious Pan-IIT World of Technology satellite event at its Yerpedu campus here on Thursday. Satyanarayana, CII AP President V. Murali Krishna, WHEELS Foundation members Ratan Agarwal and Yadav Murti Sankaran chaired the inaugural session. At the panel discussion on industry and academia collaboration for Viksit Bharat, speakers pointed out the need to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical applications. In the second session on using technology to ensure rural development, experts shared practical insights into leveraging modern technology for inclusive growth in rural areas. The delegates also visited the labs at IIT campus and witnessed the research poster exhibition showcasing the institute’s State-of-the-art facilities and innovative projects.
