How to change your name on PAN Card: Step-by-step guide

PAN card or Permanent Account Number is a unique ten-digit alphanumeric number and is issued in the form of a laminated card, under the Indian Tax Department. Here is a step-by-step guide you can follow to change/correct your name on your PAN Card. On the new screen, you need to select Apply Online and then Under Application Type, select Changes or correction in existing PAN Data/ Reprint of PAN Card. And now fill in all the details such as: Last name/surname First name Date of Birth Email ID Whether you are a citizen of India PAN Number After filling in all the details, you need to Select information, "By submitting data to us and/or using our NSDL e-Gov TIN website.” Enter the Captcha code and then click Submit.
