Manipur govt to sign 'Peace accord' with Pambei faction of UNLF
Op IndiaOn 26th November, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh announced that his state government could soon sign a ‘peace accord’ with an Imphal Valley-based insurgent group. On 27th September, the state government announced that AFSPA would remain in force for another six months in view of the present law and order situation in the state.
