Calicut varsity to issue notification to appoint new Registrar

The University of Calicut will soon issue a notification to appoint a new Registrar as the tenure of E.K. The Syndicate also decided to take steps to improve the efficiency of the re-evaluation of answer scripts. It had been alleged that marks were being illegally granted to students in the guise of re-evaluation of answer scripts. If there is a marked difference of over 30 marks after the re-evaluation, and the teachers who first evaluated the answer denied any lapse on their part, another expert teacher would again check the answer script.
