Qingdao Port begins use of intelligent oil loading arms

China's first domestically made intelligent docking system of imported oil transportation arms is put into use at Qingdao Port. The oil loading arm of Qingdao Port's intelligent docking system for imported oil was put into operation on Dec 6. Oil loading arms, thanks to their reliability, have been the preferred choice for domestic crude oil terminals with a capacity of more than 300,000 metric tons. The oil loading arms have also eliminated the safety hazards caused by hazardous chemical operations and improved operating efficiency by more than 30 percent.
