RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Now Enjoys Highest-level Security Cover on Par With Amit Shah, Gandhi Family
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat has been elevated to the status of an Advance Security Liaison protectee with Z+ security based on threat perception and a recent security review. Bhagwat, already a Z+ protectee, joins the list of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, LoP Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Priyanka Vadra who get Z+ security with ASL. A senior police official said during site assessments, the force that is providing security conducts thorough assessments of locations where the protectee will be present to identify and mitigate potential security risks. ASL protectees get special attention with respect to identifying and analysing potential threats or risks,” a senior official supervising security of protectees told News18.
