No sanitation even for GHMC brass

Hyderabad: Forget citizen complaints, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is not even addressing grievances of top officials such as chief engineers, additional engineers and law makers. Despite a number of grievances over sanitation on the MYGHMC app as well as in person, the authorities are closing complaints without attending to them. A GHMC official, demanding anonymity, said the sanitation staff had not been sweeping his own colony, in “a prime location housing the chief justice, zonal commissioners and top politicians”. A resident of Banjara Hills’ road number 10 said that the sweeping staff ignored numerous complaints including ten that he had submitted during the year on the MYGHMC App.
