Adilabad’s First Ranji Player Teja Feted on Return Home
Adilabad: Kodimela Hima Teja, the first Ranji player from Adilabad, was felicitated on his return home by various local associations. The celebration was hosted at the JC Cricket Academy — where Teja honed his skills in childhood — with former minister Jogu Ramanna serving as chief guest. Mangesh, founder of Nagpur’s Dhoni Cricket Academy, along with JC Cricket Academy founders Jayendra and Devendra Pataskar, lauded Teja for his lifelong dedication to the sport. Also present were Teja’s parents, Madhusudhan and Kameshwari, Adilabad District Olympic Association president Goverdhan Reddy, and senior BRS leader Younu Akbani.
