Lakhimpur Violence: SKM suspends Yogendra Yadav over visiting BJP worker's house
India TV NewsThe Sanyukt Kisan Morcha on Thursday suspended activist Yogendra Yadav for 1 month over his visit to the residence of deceased BJP worker's residence who lost his life during the Lakhimpur violence. Yogendra Yadav had earlier visited the residence of BJP worker Shubham Mishra, who was killed in the Lakhimpur violence and had expressed condolences to the family members. The SKM has also demanded that the incident of lynching on the Singhu border be probed by a Supreme Court judge and Union ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Kailash Choudhary to resign to meet a leader of Nihang Sikhs. In a statement, the Morcha said, "SKM demands that Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Kailash Choudhary immediately resign who met a leader of Nihang Sikhs whose group was involved in the heinous murder.
