Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha’s Mulk was a rare commercial and critical success that triggered off a lot of debate on the subject of Islamophobia and communalism in today’s India. Here’s the filmmaker’s own favourites: Andhadhun “I didn't watch many this year, but one that immediately comes to mind for its wicked writing and fantastic script and performances was Andhadhun. There was this love triangle of a woman caught between two men, one she loves and one she ends up marrying and Anurag pushes the boundaries of morality beyond socially acceptable limits and still makes sure that you don't hate the girl, which I thought was a very big achievement. So I really liked Manmarziyaan.” Stree “I have been for years, telling people and wanting to make a horror comedy because I am so scared of horror films.
