Victoria Police Assistant Commissioner for Road Policing Glenn Weir said it was "a really traumatic and destructive scene". "I think the town's still in shock, the families would certainly be grieving and the shock would be enormous for the immediate family," he said. She said community was full of "really lovely people" who would band together in the wake of the tragedy.
