Speaking to Cricinfo, ahead of his return to Manchester, Khawaja said that the drop in 2019 was the toughest point and had thought his career was done at the time. Khawaja said that it was nice to get back to England and play at Old Trafford this year. The opener said that it's a very different vibe with the team at the moment as the squad is in a different place and is enjoying his time at the moment.
