Stalin faults AIADMK for power crisis in TN

Persistent power cuts were the only achievement of the AIADMK government. If the State government had implemented power projects chalked by the previous DMK government properly, Tamil Nadu would not have faced such critical situation, said DMK treasurer M.K. Addressing a public meeting here on Sunday, he said that the previous DMK government had chalked out new power projects in order to generate 7,768 MW power at an estimated cost of Rs.26,642 crore in 2010. Referring to the talk of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s name being proposed for becoming the Prime Minister, Mr. Stalin said that the Chief Minister, who “could not fulfil the basic needs of people of a State and control price rise,” was dreaming for the highest post of the country. The number of students who achieved cent per cent in many subjects and number of toppers in SSLC and plus two exams were due to the implementation of equality education, Mr. Stalin said.
