Cyberattack disrupts classes at TU Eindhoven

NL Times

Technische Universiteit Eindhoven took its internal network offline Sunday after detecting a cyberattack. As a result, students and staff are unable to access network-dependent services, including email, Wi-Fi, Canvas, and Teams, the university reported in a statement. “We realize that disabling the network has disruptive consequences for our students, staff, and other parties on campus,” said Patrick Groothuis, vice president of the TU/e Board of Governors. We hope for understanding and are doing our best to resolve this issue and restore access to all systems as quickly as possible.” The university has not disclosed further details about the cyberattack, and a spokesperson was not immediately available for comment.
