Over 3,000 athletes to take part in State Games in Mangaluru, Udupi

As many as 3,247 athletes and 599 officials will take part in 23 sports events of the State Games, which will be held in Mangaluru and Udupi between January 17 and 23. Mallya Indoor Stadium, Yemmekere Swimming Pool, Ambedkar Bhavan, Nehru Maidan, the auditorium of the Karnataka State Government Workers Association, and Marena Indoor Sports Complex. Also, the netball matches will be held at Mangala Stadium, weightlifting events at Ambedkar Bhavan, and kayaking in the Swarna at Alavekodi, Brahmavar, in Udupi, from January 17 to 19. Swimming events will be held at Yemmekere Swimming Pool Complex from January 19 to 21, while kabaddi events will be held for four days from January 19 at Udupi District Stadium.
