State government fully committed to expediting development of CBG projects: Minister

Minister for Energy Gottipati Ravi Kumar chaired a meeting with representatives of Reliance Industries Limited on Tuesday at the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat at Velagapudi and reviewed the progress of the establishment of CBG plants in the State and its land allocations. During the review, the Minister for Energy said that the State government had entered into a memorandum of understanding with Reliance a couple of months ago to invest ₹65,000 crore for setting up 500 CBG plants in Andhra Pradesh. Assuring full support from the government in expediting the CBG plants in the State, the Energy Minister said that Andhra Pradesh was actively focusing on improving the speed of doing business, aiming to create a conducive environment for investors and businesses to thrive. The Minister reiterated to the Reliance team that the State government is fully committed to expediting the development of CBG projects.
