IND vs AUS 2nd Test: Cheteshwar Pujara prefers KL Rahul to open in Adelaide over Rohit Sharma
FirstpostCheteshwar Pujara feels that Indian cricket team should continue with KL Rahul as an opener in the second Test against Australia in Adelaide while captain Rohit Sharma can bat at No.3 and if Shubman Gill is back, he can be slotted in at No.5. Cheteshwar Pujara, who played a starring role in India’s Test series victory down under in the last two tours, feels India should continue with KL Rahul as opener alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal in the second Test against Australia which will start on 6 December. The second Test at the Adelaide Oval will be a day-night Test match and captain Rohit Sharma is now available for that after missing the first Test in Perth due to personal reasons. However, if he returns, Pujara feels Gill can bat at No.5, while captain Rohit Sharma can be No.3 and Rahul can continue opening the innings.
