In January, it was reported that the second series of Jed Mercurio’s hit BBC drama had been put on hold until producers found out “what was happening with Bond”. When asked if he’d be up for playing the main spy’s love interest – a role that’s always been played by a woman – Madden told Vogue: “Absolutely – if it was a good part.” The former Game of Thrones actor continued: “If it was an interesting part, a ‘Bond boy’ would be an interesting dynamic.
