Inter-ministerial panel to vet Labour Code on Wages US visa fee hike: Commerce Ministry calls stakeholders meeting The high-level committee headed by Finance Ministerwill meet today and give final touches to the Labour Code on Wages, which will empower the Centre to set a common minimum wage across the country. New Delhi: Commerce Ministry has called a meeting of all stakeholders including Nasscom and Ficci today to discuss the concerns of the industry on the recent hike in visa fee by the US. Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has already written to the US Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker on the issue raising India's concerns, official sources said.
