Parents claimed that their children often return home exhausted due to being assigned cleaning tasks, including maintaining the toilets, fetching water, and cleaning the school premises. The video that went viral showed girl students in school uniforms holding brooms and cleaning the toilets at the school. In response to the video and the growing concerns of parents, the District Education Officer took swift action, suspending the school principal pending an investigation.
