Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange-Patil booked for remarks against Minister Dhananjay Munde
The HinduThe Maharashtra Police have registered a case against Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange-Patil in Latur district for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Minister and NCP leader Dhananjay Munde and his community during a public rally. The complaint, filed by Kishor Munde, a supporter of the Minister, alleged that Mr. Jarange-Patil made objectionable comments targeting Mr. Munde and the Vanjari community during a rally held in Parbhani on January 4. During the rally, several Opposition and ruling party leaders demanded the resignation of Mr. Munde, alleging links between his aide, Valmik Karad, and the murder case. The incident has sparked political tensions, with the focus now on both the alleged remarks made by Mr. Jarange-Patil and the murder investigation involving Deshmukh.
