Oscars might ask films to reveal AI use after The Brutalist controversy

From next year, the Oscars will seriously consider asking nominees to disclose the use of Artificial Intelligence in their films, especially in light of The Brutalist controversy, which has been nominated in the Best Picture category this year, reported Variety. However, the director later released a statement sharing that they used AI only to refine the use of certain syllables and vowels in the Hungarian language. Director Brady Corbet shared a statement which said that a part of the film used the AI audio technology Respeecher. No English language was changed.” Speaking of the Oscar-nominated actors, Adrien Brody and Felicity Jones' performances, the filmmaker stated, “Adrien and Felicity’s performances are completely their own.” However, The Brutalist is not the only movie to have used Artificial Intelligence in its filming process.
