Friends actor recalls 'toxic environment' on set: I had become so race-conscious

Actor Stephen Park, who appeared in Friends Season 2’s 'The One with the Chicken Pox' and Season 3’s 'The One with the Ultimate Fighting Champion,' has spoken about his negative experience on the show. “It was at the time, I felt it was kind of a toxic environment,” Park said during a recent appearance on the Pod Meets World podcast. He recalled an incident involving fellow actor James Hong, stating that an assistant director referred to Hong in a racially offensive manner. He said, "James Hong was the actor who was also on the episode with me, and was calling him to the set and you know, essentially saying, ‘Where the fuck is the Oriental guy?
