Nehru saw country’s future in children, says Revanth
Deccan ChronicleHyderabad: As the nation celebrates Children’s Day to mark the birthday of India’s first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka shared messages for children on Nehru’s role as a leader who saw the country’s future in children. To support such children, Revanth Reddy said his administration is providing two uniforms annually for every government school student, an initiative led by women’s self-help groups. Speaking on Nehru’s vision of a happy childhood for every child, minister Seethakka said Children’s Day stands as a reminder of Nehru’s hope for a society that values and supports its youngest members. Seethakka assured that her department is committed to advancing Nehru’s vision by ensuring access to education, healthcare, and safe spaces for children.
