Perth singer left red-faced after he backtracks on viral Coldplay snub during radio prank

Daily Mail

The vocalist for a local Perth band was left redfaced on Monday after he backtracked on his viral Coldplay snub during a radio prank. Callum Kramer, vocalist for The Southern River Band, went viral in August when he posted on his band's Instagram page that they had 'no interest' in opening for Coldplay's recent Perth concerts. Pictured: Coldplay singer Chris Martin Callum Kramer, vocalist for The Southern River Band, went viral in August when he posted on his band's Instagram page that he had 'no interest' in opening for Coldplay's recent Perth concerts Woody then asked him why he agreed to do it when he previously said his band wasn't interested, which saw Callum backtrack on his prior claim. Despite firmly stating in August that his band would never open for the British rockers, Callum immediately backtracked and jumped at the fake opportunity to open for Coldplay But one local rock band, The Southern River Band, unapologetically announced they've got better things to do.
